RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Lead Generation Rep is responsible for proactive, outbound calling to prospects to identify opportunities and to create new business and generate additional revenue for our client.  Responsibilities for this position include: 
  • Identify and document opportunities through targeted probing and relationship building
  • Effectively cultivate and qualify leads and send to Field Sales to follow up on qualified opportunities 
  • Manage the opportunity funnel to closure 
  • Maintain CRM database by capturing all required data, which includes but is not limited to:  calling activities, profile information, funnel movement, and VOC data
  • Reconcile or escalate account or order issues related to promotions, products or services
  • Provide reporting on key metrics (i.e. activities, results and quality), trends, and market information uncovered in dialogue with prospects
  • Participate on client calls when needed to provide customer insight on sell-in activities and general customer feedback.

 

 

The ideal candidate has:

  • A minimum of two years of proactive contact over the telephone with either customers or prospects
  • Strong prospecting skills with the ability to identify opportunities within accounts
  • Excessive drive, commitment and courage to aggressively and consistently prospect
  • Excellent probing skills to profile potential customers 
  • Excellent rapport and relationship building skills
  • PC literacy and Contact Mgmt Software knowledge
