Program Manager

We are seeking a Program Manager to contribute to the refinement of our Program Management Office by utilizing your project management skills and expertise to manage complex consulting projects in a business-to-business consulting environment.  

The Program Manager will be responsible for:

• Developing the client relationship 
• Designing solutions for client projects
• Demonstrating expertise in project management skills and tools
• Managing sales and marketing consulting projects such as voice of customer, sales effectiveness and/or building customer call center projects
• Managing to Hunter’s PM process and contributing to the refinement of Program Management Office 
• Managing project timelines, budget, and resources 
• Providing thought leadership to maximize results on projects and increase value delivered to clients
• Identifying on-going opportunities to expand support to clients

Qualified candidates have:

• A Bachelor’s degree (MBA highly desired)
• Five years experience in project and budget management
• Experience interacting with all levels of client contact
• Ability to measure team effectiveness and improve performance
• An ability to follow and create processes and methodologies with strong attention to details
• Developed skills in task and deliverable planning
• An ability to perform program budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and reporting using project management tools
• Experience leading/coordinating the efforts of direct or indirect teams to achieve desired results 
• Proven ability to adapt and manage emerging situations while maintaining timeline and budget
• A strong desire to learn and the aptitude to learn quickly
• Financial and business acumen  

Ideal candidates have: 

• Master’s degree 
• CAPM or PMP Certification
• Consulting experience from a traditional consulting environment
• Experience with Six Sigma methodology
